The M.Sc course is for a two-year period and is divided into five specialties: Pediatrics, Medical Surgical, Community Medicine, Psychiatry and Obstetrics & Gynecology. There is a sanctioned capacity of 5 students for each specialty at KNN, making it a total of 25. The course of study combines the theory and the practice of nursing, with general education in the humanities and behavioral, biological, and physical sciences. These serve as a core for the development of the nursing major. The Dissertation is a major part of the M.Sc course structure.
Eligibility
Students should have passed the two-year Pre-university examination or its equivalent, and have scored not less than 45% of marks in the optional subjects and should have completed 17 years of age. The upper age limit is 35 years.
